From the street the house is deliberately traditional. Twin gabled bays and applied timberwork let a completely new building sit quietly among its older neighbours.
The kitchen runs across the rear as one open room, with an island under a large extract canopy and glazing the full width of the garden wall. The entrance hall gives a long view through the house, and the staircase is lit by a concealed cove.
Bedrooms continue into the roof, where rooflights and recessed lighting keep the loft storey feeling as generous as the floors below. The same large-format stone tiling runs through every bathroom in the house.
